On the shortlist for the Alfred Fried Photography Award

Just last week I was informed that I’m on the shortlist of the 2015 Alfred Fried Photography Award! Out of the 10 listed, 5 will receive the Alfred Fried Piece Medal and one photo will be selected as the best photo on the theme of peace. The final decision will be made on 17 September in the parliament of Austra in Vienna.

I submitted my series of Atlantikwall bunkers as they are the scarce reminders of the absence of peace.
